I participated in a research project involving orthopedic patients at Memorial health care systems. I am active with Autism Speaks and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.

NUR420: Community Health Nursing

What do you want students to learn in these classes?

Identify and discuss the role of the community health nurse in the promotion of health and prevention of disease, emergency preparedness, and epidemiology.

What advice would you give to those considering the online RN to BSN program?

Make the commitment and put in your best effort with the highest degree of integrity.

Why did you start teaching?

I have always held education in high regard and wanted to teach since I can remember. I enjoy infusing creativity into learning.

On Caring by Milton Mayeroff

Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know about you.

I am an avid reader of Science Fiction and love arts and crafts. I plan to continue my journey to a doctoral degree.
