3 Online Degrees in Ed. Leadership and Instructional Design

Education plays a significant role in shaping communities. A successful school can inspire students to outperform expectations and partner with parents to enable their children to follow their dreams.

To achieve that level of success and inspiration, school systems rely on their teaching faculty who, in turn, rely on a supportive and passionate administration. Those in leadership are uniquely influential as they can positively shape the school's environment and culture. And, when teachers feel inspired and equipped by administrators, the quality of their work and the quality of the students' education improve.

Preparing for Positions in Educational Leadership

St. Thomas University recognizes, however, that school administrators are not the only ones who seek high quality, specialized training to have the motivation and vision for their organizations. To that end, STU has created three graduate-level programs:

  • Educational Leadership
  • Instructional Design and Technology
  • Leadership and Innovation

Motivated professionals from across the country have enrolled in these all-online programs that offer tailored learning experiences based on student experiences and goals.

There are also numerous employment opportunities outside of academia if you are looking for work in the private sector. The degree has proven valuable for corporate trainers, human resource directors, project management professionals, and training developers. Specialized courses, such as Instructional Design: Theories and Models and Multimedia Design and Development, will develop your theoretical and practical skills and prepare you to build dynamic and effective learning models, using tools and technology proven to elicit results across all levels of learning.

This online program can be completed in a little as 10 months.
