6 Online MBA Options With St. Thomas

Through St. Thomas University, you can choose one of six Master of Business Administration options. Each MBA program requires the same core courses, and from there, students can take three more courses to complete a concentration. The seven core courses cover subjects in accounting, strategy systems, marketing, international business, data analytics and organizational behavior.

Students can complete each program in as few as 10 months. The programs require 30-39 credit hours; 30 for the basic degree plan, and an extra 9 contingent on a transcript review. Classes take place in an accelerated seven-week span with multiple start dates to choose from.

The General option covers topics in managerial accounting, policy and planning, strategy systems, strategic marketing, international business, data analytics, financial management, and organizational behavior.

MBA With a Concentration in Accounting Online

The online MBA in Accounting covers topics in international accounting practices and principles, the current development of multinational corporations, and forensic accounting.

MBA With a Concentration in Human Resource Management Online

The Human Resource Management online MBA covers topics regarding equal employment opportunity laws, performance appraisal, compensation management, health and safety, training and development, labor-management relations, and labor agreement negotiations. This program includes honing practical human resources skills, such as staffing, recruiting, and relationship building.

MBA With a Concentration in Sports Administration Online

The MBA in Sports Administration covers topics in economics, accounting, marketing, psychology, law and communications. While this concentration covers the same basic functions of marketing, it applies more directly to sports. You will learn how to market sports through publicizing and budgeting events. You will also study the legalities of sports: contracts, due process, defamation, safety procedures, collective bargaining and arbitration, and risk management.

MBA With a Concentration in Cyber Security Management Online

The MBA with a concentration in Cyber Security Management covers topics in cutting-edge software, internet law, news misappropriation and network neutrality. Through this degree plan, you will learn how to create your own security program and implement safety strategy.
